Job Summary
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the LADS SBU and PF&M SSBU for a program located in Tucson AZ. The MPM role is responsible for managing supply chain tasks in support of development and production contracts. As an MPM you will perform as a key member of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization and be responsible for leading Customer Proposal and Program Start-Up / Execution efforts.
You will be the liaison between the program office engineering operations quality contracts finance and the supply chain organization. The candidate should have demonstrated program management skills and will be directly accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management in support of the customer.
What You Will Do:
Own develop and implement material strategies with program objectives risk profiles and regulatory requirements.
Develop and/or manage supplier relationships to lead and/or support cross functional efforts in qualifying new sources of supply negotiating contracts and securing critical material in line with ITAR and DFARs guidelines
Conduct risk assessments for critical material and develop mitigation plans to maintain continuity of material supply
Reporting of material and labor budgets monthly forecasting earned value management Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting (including variance explanations) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments
Support leadership reviews including Gate Reviews Monthly Operations Reviews Program Reviews and Customer Reviews
Improve supplier performance by utilizing key metrics and establishing an executable Supplier Engagement Plan to actively manage risk within the supply base
Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations between organizations and with suppliers
Drive a culture of identifying true root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent future escapes and continuously improve overall supplied part quality
Creates manages and executes MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure
Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance SCM metrics Make/Buy Where strategy strategic agreements and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS ITAR offset etc.
Coach and mentor material program managers to develop skills and behaviors that contribute to a culture of accountability and operational excellence
Ability to travel at least 10% domestically as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with Supply Chain / Production Control / Procurement processes and requirements along with Program Management
Experience utilizing manufacturing or enterprise planning tools such as SAP and/or PRISM
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel and/or Power Point)
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing programs or suppliers
Prior experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function
CORE certification

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
