Position Overview
We are seeking a highly capable HR leader to drive our people strategy stabilize operations and guide the organization through a critical growth stage. This role goes beyond administrative HR functions; it requires a strategic partner who can ensure compliance develop scalable systems and foster a high-performance culture in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the companys vision and business objectives
- Ensure full compliance with California and multi-state labor laws tax regulations and employment standards proactively mitigating risks
- Build and optimize scalable HR operations including payroll benefits performance management and compensation structures.
- Strengthen employee relations by building trust resolving conflicts and driving employees engagement initiatives
- Lead end-to-end recruitment onboarding and workforce planning to support rapid business growth.
- Partner with executives to design organizational structures and support data-driven decision making.
- Drive compliance reporting audits and required filings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Startup e-commerce or food distribution/manufacturing industry experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience with proven expertise in both strategic planning and hands-on execution
- Bilingual in Korean and English
- Strong understanding of California and multi-state employment laws wage and hour regulations and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated success implementing HR systems and scalable process in high-growth or startup environments
- Excellent communication leadership and conflict-resolution skills with a focus on building trust
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced evolving organization with high levels of ownership and problem-solving skills.

- Salary Range: $75000 $95000
