Job Description
Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time Instructional Coach for the Learning Centers. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Training and Professional Development. The Instructional Coach will provide support with observations and debriefs of peer leaders who work for the Learning Centers particularly (but not limited to) evenings and weekends scheduling and conducting observations completing observation reports supporting the Learning Specialist with debriefs and performing other duties as assigned. The Instructional Coach will provide feedback through the observation report to peer leaders in support of their training and professional development for their roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred background or experience in conducting observations of teachers instructors and peer leaders (eg. tutors learning assistants) in a higher education classroom setting. Preferred background in mentoring.
