Matchwell is hiring Med SurgRNs for Direct Hire for one of our partners in Columbus IN! See below for full details and benefits.Pay Rate: $30.40 - $47.55/hr
Schedule: Direct-Hire
Position Summary
Provides care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Responsible for assessing patients developing and implementing care plans administering medications monitoring vital signs and educating patients and families..
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
- Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
- Identifies patient care problems makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
- Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
- Actively seeks participation of the patient family and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
- Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
Special Qualifications (Licensure Registration etc.)
- Associate of Nursing (ASN) or equivalent required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
Within 30 days of hire you must have (CRH provides training & time to acquire certification after employment):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Some positions may require ACLS.
