About the team
Based in Madison WI our team of 6 Software Development Engineers supports Shopbop an Amazon subsidiary within the Fashion Fitness and Creators division. We develop and maintain applications and systems that are essential for daily operations across multiple teams including Creative Operations Catalog and Merchandising. Our data integrates with front-end development teams who manage both Shopbops native platform and its presence on Amazon Marketplace.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
