Job Description

Overview

St. Lukes Health-Memorial paves the way for quality innovative health care in East Texas and provides more than a quarter of a million patient services each year. With hospitals in Lufkin Livingston and San Augustine St. Lukes Health-Memorial provides millions of dollars in charity care and community support each year.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe effective cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. They provide assistance in transporting transferring and lifting. They perform cleaning functions in patient care unit as delegated and perform selected diagnostic tests.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • 1 year of previous dialysis patient care experience required
  • BLS required

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
