GRS has partnered with a fast-growing innovation-driven Industrial IoT software company to identify a Solutions Engineer for their Charlotte NC team. This company is at the cutting edge of digitization in industrial environments and theyre seeking a highly motivated technical professional to bridge the gap between technology and business solutions.
What Youll Do
In this role youll serve as a trusted technical advisor working closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and implement transformative software solutions. You will:
Provide expert-level technical support and solution design.
Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
Contribute to pre- and post-sales engineering efforts.
Work with IIoT technologies integrating systems and deploying software platforms.
Travel occasionally for client meetings workshops and industry events.
What Youll Bring
To be successful you should bring a mix of technical depth customer focus and collaborative spirit:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience in solutions engineering technical support or similar roles within the software or technology sector.
Solid understanding of networking protocols architectures and security.
Exposure to Industrial IoT (IIoT) concepts and technologies.
Programming skills in Python Java or C are a plus.
Strong communication skills with a knack for simplifying complexity.
A customer-first approach and a passion for solving real-world problems.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic setting.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
