  • Based at our Melbourne Burwood Campus hybrid work from home arrangements (working from another of Deakins campuses will be considered)
  • Full-time and continuing

As a Lead Analyst Cyber Security Risk & Compliance you will:

  • Oversee the implementation and management of security controls ensuring they are aligned with organisational objectives and industry standards
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with cyber security policies standards and regulatory requirements addressing any gaps or non-compliance issues
  • Play a key role in the investigation and resolution of security incidents including conducting post-incident analysis and developing lessons learned
  • Develop and update cyber security policies and procedures to reflect current best practices and regulatory changes
  • Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams on matters related to cyber security risk and compliance
  • Contribute to the development of the organisations cyber security strategy driving continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful youll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
  • Extensive experience and management expertise; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Experience in cyber security risk management and compliance with a deep understanding of risk assessment methodologies and industry standards
  • Proven ability to lead complex risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies
