Job Description

  • Lead homelessness support programs across the Central Highlands region
  • Permanent full time position Based at Ballarat
  • SCHADS Level 6 increase your take home pay with salary packaging
Your new role

Step into a leadership role with community impact as the Team Leader for Homelessness Support programs across the Central Highlands region. Youll oversee the following portfolio of programs which focus on community engagement early intervention and case management:

  • Family Homelessness Specialist Support
  • A Place to Call Home
  • Support for Families at Risk
  • More than a House Private Rental Assistance Program (PRAP)
  • Private Rental Assistance Program (PRAP) Plus

As Team Leader you will be responsible for the operational management of the programs and will provide leadership supervision and mentoring support to the team delivering high-quality support services

Your skills and experience

You will bring with you:

  • Previous experience in delivering housing or homelessness support programs
  • Demonstrable supervisory experience within the community services sector
  • An understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements for jurisdictions that services operate in
  • Ability to engage and work effectively with consumers experiencing homelessness in a respectful and compassionate manner
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work psychology community services or a related field and a current drivers license.
