Berklee is seeking a dedicated Counselor to join our Health and Wellness team and provide student-centered culturally responsive mental health services. As a counselor at Berklee youll help ensure students have the emotional and psychological support they need to thrive artistically and personally.

What Youll Do:

• Provide short-term individual and group counseling psychological assessments and referrals to community providers
• Offer crisis intervention and on-call support as part of a rotating team
• Collaborate with Health and Wellness colleagues on outreach programming and psychoeducational events
• Consult with faculty staff and student leaders to support student mental health across the Berklee community
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in weekly supervision staff meetings and divisional retreats
• Support students through post-hospitalization planning and transitions
• Serve on college-wide committees and support department-wide initiatives

What You Bring:

• Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or related field
• Current licensure in Massachusetts (LICSW LMFT LMHC or Licensed Psychologist)
• 3 years of counseling experience ideally in college or community mental health
• Strong skills in assessment intervention and trauma-informed care
• Experience working with diverse and multicultural student populations
• Knowledge of eating disorders substance use treatment and mental health systems
• A passion for creative inclusive and student-centered care
