Responsible for providing prompt resolutions to all support related issues through developing designing and testing code integrated into software products. Specific duties include:
Providing technical resolutions to customer issues;
Supporting and troubleshooting customer and employee issues to determine if issues are hardware software or procedural;
Providing functional and technical support related to business applications usage and guiding customers through problem solving processes;
Properly documenting customer interactions while routing and redirecting problems to the appropriate resources;
Escalating problems to appropriate resources and follow-up to ensure problem resolutions to customer satisfaction;
Following up with customers providing regular updates and ensure customers receive technical issue resolutions;
Routinely attend training to ensure technical knowledge is aligned with constantly evolving technology;
Maintaining a thorough understanding of the product methodologies and functionalities of systems;
Utilizing excellent customer service skills to defuse difficult customer situations with an aim to exceed customers expectations;
Recommending procedure modifications or improvements;
Preserving and growing knowledge of help desk procedures products and services;
Utilizing technical knowledge to write and complete software tasks and projects;
Researching new technologies and incorporating them into new systems and products;
Testing integrating writing troubleshooting and debugging software applications at client sites;
Responsible for the architecture and implementation of critical and complex software components and games;
Using company standards apply design principals and patterns to develop robust software;
Collaborating across business segments with other engineers to provide guidance and assistance in the areas of software architecture coding standards and system related issues;
May act as team mentor in a multi-person development team; and
May review and verify the work of engineers designers or technicians.
REQUIREMENTS:
Computer Science Bachelors Degree (or foreign equivalent) or a related field. Two (2) Years experience in the job offered or as an Advanced Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer or Software Engineer or any combination thereof.
Two (2) years experience (can be gained concurrently with above) must include the following:
Java/JEE architecture and troubleshoot Java application issues memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
REST APIs and ORM frameworks including Hibernate.
T-SQL scripting set up and manage SQL jobs alerts and replication processes.
JASPER reporting SSRS and create dashboards using Grafana; configure and maintain FTP FTPS and SFTP servers application servers that include Wildfly JBoss.
Troubleshooting Web Server Configuration (IIS).
Windows Server administration and Azure Cloud Services issues.
Casino slot management systems including accounting processes audit reconciliation and reporting.
Browser developer tools to diagnose and debug issues related to customized casino web content.
Troubleshooting SSL certificate related issues for both casino content and applications.
