Job Description

Role: Education Support Worker

Salary: Grade 7 SCP 18 SCP- 33366 (FTE) 26367 - 28789 (actual salary)

Contract type: Permanent full-time term-time plus one week

Reporting to: Achievement Lead

Start date: 1st September 2025

About Us

This is an exciting time to be joining our Multi Academy Trust which collectively educates over 4300 children and employs over 450 professionals. The Foundations central offices are based at Sir John Deanes Sixth Form College campus set in beautiful grounds.

This role is based at Middlewich High School where we believe that every child deserves to attend an excellent school one that enables all students to flourish and be happy. We do this by providing all students with inspiring teaching a supportive and caring environment and an enriching educational experience in and beyond the classroom. Our objective is to support all students to achieveExcellence in Learning taking pride in their personal achievements whilst making a positive contribution to society.

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Education Support Worker responsible for all elements of pastoral care to support Excellence in Learning.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Supporting excellent attitudes to learning across the school
  • Effectively engaging with families in our school community
  • Supporting student attendance at school
  • Assisting with safeguarding our students

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is suitably experienced looking for their next challenge within an ambitious motivated and supportive learning will be highly organised personable and dedicated to support the futures of all young people. The post holder will also be required to have excellent communication skills enabling them to build positive relationships with students colleagues and families.
