Job Description
At ZEISS Corporate Research and Technology (CRT) we drive technology inspired innovation to prepare ZEISS for the future. Beyond technological and application expertise also excellence in innovation methods such as foresighting roadmapping design thinking structured problem solving open innovation etc. is essential to achieve this. You as part our team will be responsible for recognizing the right innovation methods developing and implementing them in the context of applied research and put them to work for the groups innovation processes.
Your Role
Drive regular and excellent use of innovation methods at CRT
Define and govern a portfolio of innovation methods
Train new and guide existing method owners on how to best spread the method knowledge in CRT and beyond
Work together with method owners and in project teams helping them with excellent method usage to solve out technical challenges
Actively search and develop completely new innovation methods needed by Zeiss
Be an expert in at-least one relevant fieldand keep up to date with latest developments
Support the Head of CRT in initiatives to strengthen our innovation culture
Your profile
Masters degree in mathematics computer science technology or engineering with a focus on innovation management or comparable
Strong background in innovation management methods
Proven experience in practical application of one or more methods like foresighting roadmapping design thinking structured problem solving open innovation
Fluent in English German is a plus
