Major Responsibilities
You will be responsible for
Functional type testing of AC protection functions for the HVDC stations as per the IEC standards using secondary injection kits and real time simulation environment and getting the certification done by the authorized external laboratories.
Developing automated test solutions for the AC protection functions for the HVDC projects.
Developing virtual unit testing solutions for the HVDC protection functions.
Supporting projects in resolving issues related to protection functions
Performing pre studies for the proposed control and protection ideas using EMT tools and identifying the right solutions.
Suggest new improvements which really aid our business related to control and protection functions

Backgrounds
in Electrical and electronics engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience.
2. A recent Masters graduate in Power Systems eager to embark on a challenging career contribute to innovative projects and excel in the energy sector.
2. Knowledge in Testing and commissioning of substation control and protection system.
3. Should understand different control and protection schematics of a HV/LV electrical substation.
experience in an area of power system design and engineering is also welcome to apply for this role
knowledge about communication protocols like IEC61850 MODBUS etc.
have experience in using secondary test kits like Omicron Doble etc.
5. Knowledge of PSCAD MATLAB or any other simulation software available for electric power system and control system and RTDS Hyper Sim or any other electric power system simulators is an added advantage.
6. Knowledge about HVDC control and protection system will be considered as a plus.
7. Experience with protection test case automation using scripts is an added advantage.
8. Adequate communication skills for effective cooperation with colleagues partners customers and other necessary stakeholders.
