Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans for diagnostic purposes as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain patient safety comfort and communication throughout the MRI process.
- Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning reporting issues as needed.
- Adhere to all established protocols for imaging and patient care.
- Document patient information scan results and any necessary follow-ups accurately and timely.
- Assist in educating patients about the MRI process and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain the high standard of care.
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology education program.
- Current (ARRT) Registry certification and BLS certification.
- Current Kentucky Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License.
- Availability to work 3x12-hour shifts on the third shift.
Desired Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology is required.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $79000 and $98000 annually based on the candidates interview performance and skill sets.
