Job Description
Compensation: $50000 $70000 base salary plus benefits and profit sharing
Location: Covers from Homestead to Melbourne FL ideal candidate will be based somewhere central within this region for easier access to both ends of the territory.
About The Job:
Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for a Construction Safety Inspector to join their team. Our client is a well-established and growing structural shell subcontractor known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Florida.
This is a full-time role focused on ensuring compliance with safety standards and supporting a safe work environment on construction sites. The ideal candidate is experienced bilingual and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced construction setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document safety inspections on active job sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards and company policies
- Communicate safety expectations and findings with field teams
- Identify and resolve job site safety issues proactively
- Work outdoors for extended periods in varied weather conditions
- Support safety culture through clear and consistent communication
- 3 years of experience in residential or commercial construction
- Experience with subcontractor operations and safety practices
- Spanish-speaking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong documentation and attention to detail
- Self-motivated problem-solver with a goal-oriented mindset
- Valid driver s license
- Ability to work in Florida heat with flexible hours based on weather and workload
- OSHA certification preferred
