Job Description
Your Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the Accounting and Controlling divisions
- Management and development of the General Ledger Group Accounting Credit Management and Controlling divisions (approx. 23 employees)
- Ensuring the timely preparation of the monthly quarterly and annual financial statements as well as the consolidated financial statements
- Planning implementation and control of budgets and forecasts including deviation analyses
- Taking over annual planning and cost accounting
- Central contact for auditors tax advisors banks and first point of contact for the Group management
- Establishing and ensuring the implementation of current accounting and tax regulations providing active advice and support to the team leaders/teams on accounting issues
- Continuous development of the Finance and Controlling teams
Your Profile
- Completed studies in economics (ideally with a focus on accounting) or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in group accounting preferably with experience in auditing
- Proficiency in the German Commercial Code (HGB) (individual and consolidated financial statements)
- Leadership experience is advantageous
- Fluent in German and English both written and spoken
- Hands-on mentality as well as a structured and independent way of working
- High level of social competence ability to work in a team and good communication skills for complex issues
