Details about the Role
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer with a strong command of PHP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications ensuring they are robust scalable and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with our design content and marketing teams to deliver seamless web experiences.
Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design develop and maintain web applications using PHP ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements.

Database Management: Design and manage databases ensuring data integrity and security. Work with MySQL or other relational databases.

API Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs into web applications.

Code Review and Optimization: Regularly review code for efficiency performance and security and make necessary optimizations.

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify troubleshoot and fix bugs or issues in web applications.

Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers designers and content creators to ensure consistent and high-quality user experiences.

Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development particularly in PHP and apply them to ongoing projects.

Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all projects and codebases.
Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Experience: 4-8 years of professional experience in web development with a focus on PHP.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in PHP with a strong understanding of its design patterns and best practices.

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks like Bootstrap or .

Strong knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Experience with web servers (e.g. Apache Nginx) and cloud services.

Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.

Knowledge of security practices in web development.
