Requirements

• Experience in digital marketing
  
• Implements SEO best practices
  
• A working knowledge of HTML CSS CSS pre-processors (LESS and SASS) native JavaScript jQuery and MySQL/MariaDB

• Experience working with HTML5 and CSS3 features; implements fall-backs for features unavailable in older browsers and on older devices
  
• Ability to transform static designs from Photoshop Sketch and Zeplin to responsive HTML5 web pages

• Familiarity developing with and maintaining codebases on Microsoft IIS .NET (C# ) and MSSQL Server are a plus
  
• Experience in developing and maintaining custom and requirements-driven WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. Has familiarity of core WordPress classes and functions. Does not depend on third-party themes/child themes and plugins to develop WordPress websites. Experience with WordPress multi-site is a plus.

• Experience with secure coding principles and best practices for web applications; familiar with and implements measures against common security vulnerabilities such as XSS

• Experience working in Scrum and other agile development methodologies
  
• Experience with package managers (Composer NPM)
  
• Experience setting up and maintaining LAMP and LEMP servers both dedicated and virtualized (notably Red Hat CentOS and Ubuntu distributions); familiarity with the linux command line setting up active traffic and performance monitoring solutions optimizing PHP-FPM pools and tuning Apache/Nginx configurations based on server load and CPU and I/O utilization; ensuring software versions are up to date and security patches are applied promptly; install and test custom software
  
• Create and implement database specifications design models and queries to meet the functional requirements of custom web applications
  
• Ensures code rigidity and compatibility by testing all use cases (and includes edge cases into function design) and ensures code accuracy in QA. Applies to designed web pages (responsive layouts and cross-browser/device testing) front-end code and back-end code
  
• Familiarity with writing custom or framework-driven RESTful APIs is a plus
  
• Familiarity with deployments to AWS is a plus
  
• Experience developing with eCommerce platforms (Magento) is a plus
