About the Role
Job Title: Voice AI Engineer

As a Voice AI Engineer you wont just be writing code youll be crafting the building blocks of cutting-edge scalable voice agents that can listen speak and think. If you re passionate about combining backend engineering real-time processing and conversational AI you ll thrive here.
Expect rapid prototyping hands-on ownership and direct impact in a space where innovation meets execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design build and maintain real-time audio communication pipelines using WebSockets Redis and Django Channels.
Integrate and optimize Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) engines for high-performance low-latency communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed Large Language Models (LLMs) (like OpenAI Claude Gemini) into dynamic conversational flows.
Continuously monitor test and debug production systems to maintain high system uptime and low error rates.
Conduct R&D-style experiments to validate new tools frameworks or model integrations from Whisper to Eleven Labs.
Write clean modular well-documented code and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
Requirements
Tech Stack You ll Work On:
Backend: Python Django REST Framework (DRF) Django Channels
Realtime: WebSockets Redis Pub/Sub
Async / Task Queue: Celery
Voice AI: STT (Speech-to-Text) TTS (Text-to-Speech) LLM integrations
Infrastructure: AWS
Having a hunch about working with VoiceAI
A builders mindset someone who loves tinkering rapid prototyping and solving complex problems
Development experience using Python/Django
Understanding of asynchronous programming WebSockets and task queues like Celery
Enthusiasm or prior exposure to voice technologies (STT/TTS) or LLM-driven applications
Bonus Points
Hands-on experience with STT/TTS tools like Whisper ElevenLabs Google Cloud STT/TTS
Built your own chatbot voice bot or LLM-based app
