Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Lead Fullstack Engineer to join our team to build the next generation of healthcare SaaS products. You ll spearhead MVP buildouts core refactors end-to-end integrations (Fullscript e-prescribe telehealth transcription) and a copilot AI layer over health data and shaping our technical roadmap.
Responsibilites:
Replace legacy Rust DB with scalable serverless/data-warehouse solution (Firebase DuckDB/Postgres)
Migrate off Auth0 to Firebase Auth and unify authentication flows
Rationalize legacy microservices (Python C# Dart) into modern Cloud Functions/containers
- API Integrations
-- Fullscript & e-prescribe (e.g. Surescripts/Truepill)
-- Telehealth video SDK (Twilio Vonage Zoom)
-- Transcription pipelines (OpenAI Whisper Deepgram AssemblyAI)
- AI Copilot Development
-- Design & implement prompt/embedding pipelines to convert health data LLM context
-- Build vector-search layer (Pinecone Weaviate or Firestore metadata)
-- Expose AI services via secure performant APIs
- Mobile App Maintenance
-- Own Flutter codebase for iOS & Android
-- Optimize state management offline sync push notifications
- DevOps & CI/CD
-- Transition from Kubernetes/Jenkins to GitHub Actions Firebase deployment
-- Ensure 99.9% uptime monitoring logging and automated rollbacks
- Technical Leadership
-- Drive best practices: testing code reviews documentation
-- Help define product roadmaps feature specs and sprint plans
Requirements
- 5 years full-stack engineering (backend mobile).
- Deep expertise with Firebase (Cloud Functions Firestore Auth Hosting).
- Strong Python experience (API design data pipelines).
- Proven track record integrating 3rd-party healthcare APIs (e-prescribe telehealth etc.).
- Hands-on with AI/ML APIs (OpenAI Whisper Pinecone or similar).
- Solid Flutter experience and mobile-dev best practices.
- Familiar with modern CI/CD (GitHub Actions Docker Kubernetes fundamentals).
- Excellent communicator; able to translate product needs into technical solutions.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA/GDPR).
- Exposure to C# / .NET microservices.
- Knowledge of Rust or SQL schema design.
- Vector databases (Weaviate Pinecone Milvus).
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Pulumi).
