Role Type: Contract opportunity with ongoing extensions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with other developers designers and architects to ensure the build meets business requirements and performance goals.
- Design implement and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB.
- Define and enforce CI (Configuration Item) class structures relationships and data integrity rules.
- Collaborate with ITSM ITOM and infrastructure teams to ensure CMDB supports business needs.
- Develop and maintain Discovery and Integration processes to populate and update CMDB data.
- Monitor CMDB health and perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Create and maintain documentation for CMDB processes standards and governance.
- Support Service Mapping and Event Management initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB-related issues and incidents.
Requirements
- Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes especially Configuration Management.
- Experience with Service Mapping Event Management and integrations (e.g. SCCM vCenter).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript Glide API).
- Familiarity with CMDB data models and normalization techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
