Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a sharp detail & task-oriented Content Moderator to help us maintain a high-quality and trustworthy marketplace experience in the Automotive category on Carousell. You will be responsible for reviewing and moderating vehicle listings ensuring they meet platform guidelines and marketplace standards. A basic understanding of Singapores automotive market such as COE common car models and dealer practices is a bonus for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Review and moderate used car listings to ensure accuracy completeness and adherence to Carousells policies
Identify and take action on duplicate mispriced incomplete or misleading listings
Flag suspicious content or potential fraud for escalation to Trust & Safety
Use internal tools to log moderation actions and track repeat offenders
Communicate with sellers through templated messages to request corrections or improvements
Provide feedback to operations and product teams on trends or recurring issues
Qualifications :
Experience in content moderation customer operations or marketplace support (12 years preferred)
Familiarity with Singapores car market is a bonus: common car makes/models
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to evaluating content
Strong written communication skills for seller outreach and internal communication (English)
Able to work independently and manage high-volume moderation queues
Comfortable with using Google spreadsheets basic dashboards and internal review tools
Bonus: Experience in the automotive classifieds or e-commerce industry
