Oaks Resort Port Douglas is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic team in one of Tropical North Queenslands most iconic resort destinations.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced operational leader with a passion for hospitality strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage operations across the resort ensuring excellent service standards team development and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of the F&B department including restaurant bar functions and events
- Manage staffing rostering training and team performance
- Drive profitability and cost control through effective procedures and reporting
- Ensure compliance with health safety and service standards
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience
- Adapt quickly to the seasonal nature of the region while maintaining consistent quality
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in an F&B leadership role preferably within a hotel/resort
- Strong understanding of budgets P&L and financial controls
- Exceptional communication and team management skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-volume seasonal environment
- Hands-on operational focus with attention to detail and guest satisfaction
