Job Description
- Tool cost calculation for plastic rubber stamping and aluminum die casting parts and negotiation with suppliers
- Assessment of tool concepts and tool makers
- Definition and implementation of an optimized (cost technology) tool sourcing strategy
- Collaboration with product development for a tool optimized (cost technology) design.
Qualifications :
- University degree in mechanical engineering (or similar)
- Practical knowledge and real life (tool shop) experience in tooling design construction testing modifications and reparations
- Experience in tool cost calculation
- Excellent personal communication skills experience in working with suppliers.
- English fluent in speech and writing
- Flexibility for travel also international
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAD systems
- Familiarity with Costing software will be an asset.
