Job Description
In this role you will have to:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using advanced statistical methods and tools to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets
- Create and maintain PowerPoint reports ensuring adherence to clients report publishing guidelines and formatting requirements
- Develop and implement data quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity and accuracy of analyses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Design and create visually appealing and informative data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Perform regular data audits and reconciliations to ensure data consistency across various systems and reports
- Develop and maintain databases data systems and data models to support analytical processes
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Prepare and deliver presentations of findings to stakeholders including executive leadership
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and visualization
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work including data analysis report creation and quality control
- Continuously improve and upskill in MS Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint as well as other relevant data analysis tools
- Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications :
Our most successful candidates will have:
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics or a related field;
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office applications particularly advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in creating and maintaining databases and data models
- Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in data analysis
