Job Description
Electrical Superintendent
Gastonia NC
must be a US Citizen or GCH.
The client is looking for an Electrical Superintendent to manage industrial electric projects. Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience. The Superintendent will oversee the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation additions and/or repairs of electrical systems conductors and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver & exercises great communication skill with project managers and clients.
Duties are but may not be limited to:
- Managing a crew of 10 -15 electricians
- Review plans and layouts provided by the Project Manager
- Identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress with the Project Manager.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress
- Controls project plan by reviewing design specifications plan and schedule changes
- Generate weekly and monthly material requests
- Attend job site meetings with General Contractor when needed
- Maintain daily logs and other paperwork that can be required by the General Contractor
- Use an iPad to document daily progress on a project
- Maintaining safe and clean working environment
- Comprehend and practice safe work procedures
MUST HAVE:
- 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.
- Strong industrial electrical background
- Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Ability to safety operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
