Packaging/Forklift Associate
Location: Onsite in Kearny NJ
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Target Start Date: 07/20/2025 - 08/01/2025
Assignment Length: 1 Year
Shift:Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Includes 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks
Overtime: Based on business needs
Join Our Warehouse Operations Team!
Were seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging/Forklift Associate to join our warehouse operations team for a 1-year assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safe timely and accurate handling of critical packaging systems and temperature-sensitive products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory for packaging systems gel packs and dry ice
- Safely handle cold chain packaging materials and maintain temperature-sensitive shipments
- Operate forklift equipment including sit-down forklifts and cherry/order pickers
- Follow procedures related to TempTale temperature monitoring devices
- Accurately complete GxP documentation logs
- Identify and respond to product temperature and replenishment needs
- Package completed products into boxes or cartons
- Receive stock and rotate goods; pick and prepare orders for shipment
- Conduct daily cycle counts resolve discrepancies and assist with inventory audits
- Utilize warehouse management systems (e.g. PkMS) to perform daily tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company and DEA safety standards
- Perform returns processing and data entry
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Forklift certification preferred; must be comfortable operating sit-down and cherry picker/order picker forklifts
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day
- Understanding of cold chain logistics and dry ice handling a plus
- Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and documentation protocols
- Professional demeanor with a team-first attitude and dependable attendance
