Job Description

The Mount Mercy Campus of St. Ambrose University seeks an Information Services Librarian. This full-time 12-month faculty librarian position is ideal for recent graduates early-career librarians or those who enjoy a rounded portfolio of library responsibilities. These responsibilities include the provision of information services supervision of the librarys student workers and participation in a range of access-and-technical-services tasks. Candidates are expected to provide reference services library instruction individual research assistance and have experience with an integrated library system and periodical databases. The successful candidate will be service-oriented manage a wide variety of responsibilities and enjoy working with students and faculty.

Qualifications

  • American Library Association (ALA)-accredited masters degree required.
  • Recent work or internship experience in an academic or research library is preferred.
