Job Description
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality care in a secure institutional healthcare environment. You will be responsible for providing advanced nursing services to a diverse population under the supervision of a facility physician. This role blends clinical autonomy teamwork and a mission-driven purpose.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive medical care including physical exams treatments and diagnostic services

Order interpret and evaluate lab and diagnostic tests

Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans

Recommend medications and treatments within licensure scope

Monitor hospitalizations and support early discharge planning

Maintain security confidentiality and accuracy in all medical records

Participate in staff meetings quality improvement and accreditation processes

Conduct health counseling and education individually or in groups

Respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies and critical incidents

Evaluate and maintain a safe clinical environment for patients and staff
Required Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a degree

Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with family practice training in California

Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience

Must be at least 18 years of age

Strong interpersonal skills sound judgment and adaptability in a secure setting
