Overview:
The subject matter expert (SME) will work on a team of engineers performing Certification and Support for services. The primary responsibility for the individual is to analyze requirements identify gaps in test coverage update and execute manual and automated testing efforts effectively and efficiently test the system applications and the related areas and perform regression testing. The teams goal is to ensure that our Services meet the quality standards set by the Service Architects and Product Owners. Qualified candidate need to be a self-starter and able to operate in a highly dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the quality assurance and test execution for new and existing applications and interfaces for Mobility Services and Devices.
Leverage business and functional requirements created by Product and Key Stakeholder teams to design develop analyze write and execute test plans and strategies ensuring that the testing efficiently and effectively covers all possible testing scenarios
Develop Test and Run manual and automated tests and scripts on daily basis ensuring complete test coverage of requirements.
Investigate troubleshoot and verify software defects and other technical issues.
Determine integrated testing solutions that include cross dependencies between organizations and programs.
Develop data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance usability scalability reliability and security needs.
Analyze and report on test progress status and performance metrics
Work with devices/network vendors on issues log collection analysis and troubleshooting.
Provide on-call support for after hour emergencies and outages.
Communicate complex technical issues via email and in person.
Required Skills/Experience:
7 years of experience working on software products certification of mobile applications and devices and automated testing.
Excellent problem solving/debugging/troubleshooting skills to track down the cause of problems and quickly find solutions.
Experience in gathering and analyzing complex customer/network (VoIP and/or Mobility) sessions at the packet level; proficiency with tools such as Wireshark Agilent and Tektronix is essential.
Extensive knowledge/experience with implementation interworking troubleshooting and support of various protocols/architectures including - SIP IMS 3GPP etc.
Proficient experience writing code using C C# Python PERL Appium and JAVA.
Working knowledge/experience of IP networking (v4 and v6) IP networking protocols NAT ACLs SSL/TLS VLANs and Routing protocols in the troubleshooting and support realms.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; skills including effective presentation with a dynamic and can do attitude.
Advanced experience and knowledge of iOS Android and MAC/Windows Operating Systems and Devices.
Experience developing game engine technology and testing Mobile 3D computer graphics/AR/VR and embedded systems is desired.
Action oriented results driven and work with minimal direction. Attention to detail adept organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure are critical in this role.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced agile environment supporting multiple projects using a wide variety of technologies
