EEO Program Administrator Position Overview

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking an EEO Program Administrator to join our team and play an important role in advancing our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals.

In this position you will be responsible for developing implementing and monitoring OODs Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) programs. You will evaluate workforce analytics identify strategies and ensure compliance with EEO and AA guidelines across our statewide offices. Additionally you will conduct investigations into complaints of discrimination prepare investigative reports and advise management on case resolutions. A successful EEO Program Administrator has strong attention to detail excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with others the ability to reason through complex issues and proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Your expertise will be valuable in providing technical assistance to managers supervisors and staff on EEO matters as well as conducting employee training and presentations on topics such as EEO and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Division Overview:

Opportunity & Accessibility (O&A) ensures adherence to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action laws/regulations through strategic planning employee education counseling and complaint investigation/resolution. Pay Information

Starting salary will be step 1 subject to law or union contract requirements. New hires advance to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. There are cost of living increases to these rates each year and additional longevity supplements begin after 5 years. The current wage progression for this position is in the table below.

Location Requirements

We are currently in the process of increasing our in-office presence to 5 days per week across all OOD locations. Employees must reside at a location that allows for reasonable response time to workplace reporting requirements.

Daytime travel within Ohio may be required. The selected candidate must have a valid drivers license.
