The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largestmental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada as well as one of the worlds leading research centres in its services are delivered to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and substance use challenges. Our goal is to tailor treatment to each individual providing patient-centered comprehensive coordinated care.
CAMH is seeking two (2) part-time contract (12 months) Research Analysts to support the Toronto Adolescent and Youth (TAY) Cohort Study and related sub-studies. The TAY Cohort Study follows 1500 youth to determine who is at highest risk of developing psychosis and the relationship between risk and functional outcomes. Reporting to the Research Manager and working closely with the Study Investigators the Research Analyst will be primarily responsible for conducting neuroimaging visits clinical scales and cognitive testing. They will prepare and maintain participant study records and documentation data entry and database maintenance and support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials. The Research Analyst will also assist with scheduling participant interviews recruiting and screening research participants and leading the informed consent process. They will also support preparation of data for presentations and peer-reviewed research papers as well as manage other administrative duties as required.

This position requires weekend and evening shiftsat both 80 Workman Way and 250 College Street with travel between CAMH sites as needed.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Psychology or neuroscience combined withone (1) year of relevant clinical or research experience with youth young adults and/or families with mental health challenges. Previous experience in administration of neuropsychological assessments (e.g. RAVLT LMT) and clinical rating scales (e.g. SIPS C-SSRS) is required. Previous experience with neuroimaging (e.g. MRI EEG) and handling specimens (e.g. blood urine) is an asset. Previous experience in screening recruiting and leading the informed consent process with research participants is required. Competency in following best practices and Standard Operating Procedures will be expected. Candidates will also have demonstrated ability to maintain large databases and use electronic data capture methods (e.g. REDCap) and will have literature review and synthesis skills. Proficiency with word processing PowerPoint and database software packages is required. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and diverse stakeholders is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail the ability to exercise initiative and good judgment and ability to meet deadlines while working independently with minimal supervision. Candidates require the ability to work effectively in a variety of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
