SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Heartland Housing Sanctuary program provides several different services to survivors of human trafficking exploitation domestic violence sexual assault and stalking in an effort to meet them where they are at in their recovery journey. The programs services include crisis stabilization shelter mobile advocacy and Rapid Re-Housing services.
This position will provide support to survivors in Rapid Re-Housing services in the form of temporary financial assistance and supportive services to survivors of human trafficking exploitation domestic violence sexual assault and stalking who are homeless and residing in Douglas Sarpy and Pottawattamie County. This is a housing first program and utilizes the progressive engagement model in providing services. The Case Manager will work to identify screen and serve eligible clients through the Sanctuary Program. This position will also work with a multitude of task forces and community meetings centered around housing and survivor services and Threshold the metros Continuum of Care for the Homeless. To ensure that employees and survivors have the necessary supports and best chance at success.
Compensation: between $19.74 and $23.00 per hour (wage is determined by total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: 37.50 hours per week
