Position Summary: As a Textile Industry Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B customers who rely on us for technical textiles marine and automotive fabrics sewing supplies and industrial components. This role is ideal for someone who understands the value of relationships in a niche industry and can help customers navigate product choices supply chain concerns and long-term sourcing strategies. Youll serve as the primary contact for your assigned accountsproviding tailored recommendations identifying new product opportunities and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Our Account Managers are trusted partners to our clients and play a key role in helping them grow their businesses. We are currently expanding our account management structure and assigning a significant number of active customers to each book of business. Key Responsibilities: - Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with customers in the textile marine upholstery and industrial fabrication markets.
- Account Growth: Identify upselling cross-selling and reactivation opportunities using a solutions-based approach.
- Industry Knowledge: Develop deep product and application knowledgeespecially in textiles vinyls foams threads and adhesivesto serve as a trusted advisor.
- Order Execution: Oversee order accuracy follow-ups and issue resolution in collaboration with supply chain and customer service teams.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer records sales activity and follow-up tasks to manage your pipeline effectively.
- Customer Onboarding: Educate and onboard new clients helping them get the most value from our products and services.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including marketing and product management to coordinate account strategies and promotional opportunities.
- Client Retention: Proactively check in with accounts gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
Qualifications: - Industry Experience Preferred: Familiarity with textiles industrial materials marine/upholstery products or B2B distribution is highly valued.
- Sales/Account Management: 3 years in account management inside sales or customer relationship roles in a B2B setting.
- Communication: Clear professional communicator with strong listening skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- CRM & Tech: Comfortable using CRM platforms and internal systems to manage accounts and follow-ups.
