Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to play a role on our Device Logistics Finance Team.
This role can be based in Amazon offices in: Sunnyvale CA
Key job responsibilities
Partner directly with our Device Finance team to drive visibility and sound decision making in the areas of planning and forecasting.
Partner with Program Managers and Device Finance team to ensure Business Strategy is translated and reflected in Operational and Financial results.
Explore opportunities for automation and forecasting improvements.
Maintain and develop financial models for Logistics cost estimates to support product launch decisions scenario analysis and other ad hoc requests.
Attend core team meetings and serve as primary Finance point of contact for Logistics forecasts

This role requires an intellectually curious individual who can frame situations through multiple lenses. They are a self-starter with a keen attention to detail and an ability to set clear priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have shown success in influencing business owners and supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon including international entities and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
About the team
We are the Device Logistics Finance Team. Our P&L responsibility centers around horizontal support of Logistics costs for all of Devices. With Devices Global Logistics and Amazon Device Reverse Logistics expertise around OEM we expand our finance support as the business expands to support new product launches and services including Project Kuiper
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 4 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
- MBA or CPA
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
- Knowledge of Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
