Job Description

  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Remuneration: Level 8
  • Location: Kensington UNSW Campus (hybrid)

About this role and why it matters

The Project Manager leads the implementation of the UNSW Travel Device program and is responsible for reviewing and enhancing the current processes related to travel devices at UNSW. This role will identify gaps and opportunities to expand the program to a broader group of staff ensuring seamless integration with UNSWs travel system and compliance with cybersecurity protocols.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is aligned with UNSWs vision and values who is highly organised and who comes equipped with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education training and experience.
  • Proven project management experience including development of project plans objectives and documentation with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Demonstrated analytical assessment and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed risk recommendations.
  • High level interpersonal and verbal communications skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate solution focussed outcomes for the resolution of complex risk scenarios challenges and situations.
  • Experience in identifying and implementing improvements to business processes especially those involving IT.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
  • High level of experience working with a range of computer systems and applications.
  • Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
