Job Description
The School of Graduate and Professional Studies ( SGPS ) is seeking a dynamic learner-focused online Adjunct Instructor course developer and Program director to launch a new program in Spanish for Credit Union Professionals. This program will launch at the end of August in partnership with a regional credit union organization. The position is 100% remote and the position will be compensated for course development and program leadership as well as the instruction of relevant coursework. This new program Spanish for Credit Union Professionals will engage adult learners in a two-course sequence of beginner Spanish followed by a new course on Spanish for Finance. Coursework will engage students in studying the language and the nature of trust in cross-cultural interactions. The successful candidate will be a talented course developer a successful language teacher and have the capacity to engage professionals in dialogues about culture finance and trust. ***Due to state tax payroll processing Elizabethtown College is limited to only hiring individuals within the following states: Delaware Maryland New Jersey & Pennsylvania . If you do not reside in one of those states you will not be considered for employment. Please note since this position is part-time visa sponsorship will not be available .
Required Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess: Masters degree in Spanish or Spanish Education; Evidence of high-quality online teaching experience; Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish; Evidence of curriculum development skillsets. Ability to open complex dialogues about culture and trust. Successful candidates will demonstrate teaching excellence excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative processes. They will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching adult learners and proficiency in teaching online with high-impact strategies. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to interact with others while maintaining professionalism and respect for all individuals. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the credit union or banking industry. Expertise in the domains of cross-cultural communication or trust.
