Your role

We are seeking a senior .NET developer with a background in microservice architecture to join our team in Helsingborg. In this role you will have the opportunity to design develop and maintain scalable applications and services for submarines and surface ships using C# and .NET contributing to projects that have a significant impact. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of creating and deploying high-performance systems across diverse industries and technologies.

What You Will Do

• Full Lifecycle Involvement: Engage in every phase of the development process from initial architecture and design to development and final commissioning.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams to define and implement new features ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure that applications and services are optimised for performance quality and responsiveness meeting the high standards required for submarine and surface ship systems.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the systems.
• Code Quality Management: Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices to maintain a robust efficient and scalable codebase ensuring the reliability and performance of submarine and surface ship systems.
• Team Support: Participate in code reviews and provide support to other team members contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Your profile

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:

• Demonstrated expertise as a senior .NET developer with a strong background in microservice architecture and deep knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Working with product development and Agile methodologies.

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Git Azure DevOps (or similar) RabbitMQ (or other message que frameworks) and familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Personal qualities: We are seeking a candidate who is highly adaptable and results-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate excels in communication and teamwork understanding the broader impact of their work.
• Experience in the defence sector is a plus but not required.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
