Description
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our fast-growing software team in a full-time capacity for 6 months. In this role you will support the development and refinement of our user interface that interacts with various quantum sensing hardware components such as sensors laser controllers and translation stages. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with cutting-edge software in a dynamic collaborative environment.

What will you do
- Collaborate closelywith team members and stakeholdersto gather requirements and translate them into robust flexible solutions.
- Troubleshoot refine andoptimizeexistingsoftwarefunctionalityto improveuser experienceand reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing infrastructure and documentation.
What is expected of you
- Ability to work full-time on-site in our Munich lab for 6 months.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors orMasters degree in Engineering(e.g. Electrical Computer Software or related field).
- Proficiencyin Pythonandexperiencewith Qt for GUI development.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) for collaborative code management.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments including command-line tools and shell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced high-tech environment.
