Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching assigned courses related to field.
- Developing and delivering high-quality course materials including lectures assignments and assessments that align with departmental learning objectives.
- Providing constructive and timely feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.
- Maintaining an engaging and professional classroom environment (in-person or online) to inspire student participation and learning.
- Adhering to university policies and academic standards while promoting a positive inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborating with department faculty and staff on curriculum development and student support as needed.
Other Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with online teaching platforms (if applicable to course delivery format)
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in advertising and digital marketing
- Ability to incorporate real-world industry insights and case studies into coursework to enhance learning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requirements vary based on the area of instruction. Positions may require a Bachelors or Masters degree with no experience or a Bachelors or Masters degree with up to 10 years of significant and course-related professional experience.
Appointment and Compensation:
Adjunct instructors are hired on a per-course semester-by-semester basis. Compensation is based on course load and experience following university adjunct faculty pay scales.
