Manager, Online Casino Risk

As aManager Online Casino Risk your responsibilities include preventing fraudulent activities and bonus abuse within our online casino platform. This role involves monitoring player activities analyzing data and implementing strategies to mitigate revenue loss stemming from nefarious customers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The strategies must be ever evolving to adapt with emerging technology and new ways of abuse / fraudulent behavior.

This role will be the lynch pin between other department affected by fraud and abuse. You will assist other departments in investigations tracking and due diligence as needed. This role will also work closely with the members of the Sportsbook Risk Trading Online Casino Operations VIP and Marketing teams to identify trends and industry leading fraud prevention practices.

The role will require knowledge and adaptation of the new technologies. The position gathers analyzes summarizes and interprets date to provide recommendations on table limits customer incentives and promotions. The individual must have strong presentation skills and the ability to recommend strategy to senior leadership with corroborated data.

What You Will Do:

• Monitor and report on the health/performance of Payments KYC Risk/Fraud Data Science VIP and Customer Service tools supporting online casino operations.
• Spearhead proactive review of potential casino promo/bonus abuse liaising with multiple internal support functions to reduce points of exposure.
• Liaise with help desk functions of various online casino suppliers to research game transaction issues.
• Ensure player analysis is undertaken in a central location and in a compliant manner that meets individual state rules and regulations.
• Assist centralized support functions in reviewing/releasing of transactions for online casino customers in the given SLA period for multiple jurisdictions.
• Work closely with the centralized Payments function providing research for investigations and chargeback inquiries.

Develop and Implement Risk Management Strategies:

• Design implement and continuously improve risk management strategies to identify assess and mitigate potential threats to the online casino.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management protocols.
• Responsible for analyzing and interpreting market and player data to provide logical recommendations.
• Produce detailed presentations describing trends and profitability.

Fraud Prevention Detection and Management:

• Utilize advanced fraud detection tools and technologies to monitor and identify suspicious activities in real-time.
• Investigate and analyze patterns trends and anomalies related to fraudulent behavior.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the latest fraud techniques and emerging threats in the online gaming industry.
• Manage payment fraud management including monitoring of chargeback levels approval rates.
• Manager bonus abuse management across all products to action emerging trends.
• Simulate and describe algorithms for possible risky operations (individual or groups of operations)
• Coordinate with Promotions team on new and innovative customer offers ensuring incentive abuse is minimized.
• Conduct regular audits of customer accounts and transactions to identify anomalies and potential fraud.
• Generate detailed reports on fraud trends incidents and effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies
• Build a culture of support for both Caesars Digital and Caesars Entertainment
• Build team collaboration and work as cohesive unit within multiple verticals of Caesars Entertainment

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in business or finance preferred
• 5 years of experience in gaming operations at management level
• Experience with office work preferably in a sports betting company
• Deep knowledge of casino wagering online casino wagering a plus
• Understands finance and has experience working as an analyst
• Working knowledge of BI Tools (Power BI Looker SQL)
• Ability to analyze trends and recognize patterns
• Must be able to acquire and maintain State Gaming License if required for the position
• Must be proficient with computer and software spreadsheets inclusive of Excel and PowerPoint
• Diligent and detail oriented
• High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise tact and diplomacy
