Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our EMPLOYEE-OWNED TEAM at The Oaks of Bartlett in Bartlett IL!

This position offers a Sign on Bonus of $1500

As the AssistantDirector of Rehab you will be responsible for leading and managing our rehabilitation department ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals in need of rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

As an AssistantDirector of Rehab you will be responsible for supervision of the rehab staff and therapy activities in the community. As the leader of our interdisciplinary team you will act as a trusted partner for the client and community along with maintaining expected productivity standards. More importantly you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes.

  • Supervise Symbria Rehab therapy staff and therapy activities in the community.
  • Coordinate therapy services with the nursing department and report information presented at interdisciplinary team meeting.
  • Monitor staff productivity and staffing requirements per patient caseload.
  • Ensure program compliance with the requirements of regulation agencies.
  • Collect statistical data to monitor services utilization.
  • Coordinate internal and external marketing activities in conjunction with community staff to promote awareness of Symbria Rehab Therapy Services Department within the community.
  • Monitor outcomes of the rehabilitation program.
  • Adhere to Symbria Rehabs mission Code of Conduct and policies and procedures.
  • Able to self-direct his/her functions.
  • Any and all duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapists.
  • Hold a valid or pending (for newer graduates) state license.
  • Its great to have had acute care long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
