Job Description
Overview
Primarily responsible for the timely and accurate presentation of assigned financial accounts within the General Ledger. The Senior Accountant will ensure appropriateness of transactions posted to assigned accounts (in compliance with GAAP OSHPD and other regulatory guidelines as necessary) and ensures integrity of subsidiary system postings to the General Ledger. Also prepares various financial reports and analyses for internal and external use as well as assists in the audit/review of these reports. Works on special projects for accounting department as they arise.

Qualifications
Three to five years relevant experience in a hospital environment is preferred
Bachelors degree or equivalent Accounting or Finance
General ledger experience.
Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis principles.
Computer skills including spreadsheets and applications required.
High degree of organization/priority-setting abilities.
Must be flexible and willing to work within a team.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
