Position Summary & Scope
Reporting to the Vice President of Industrial Technologies the Strategic Marketing Manager for Industrial Technologies plays a significant role in driving the Vantage strategy for specialty chemical ingredients into the Industrial Markets. This includes supporting strategy development and implementation to drive growth enhance market position and improve profitability across targeted Industrial chemical segments. This role requires deep market knowledge customer insights competitive analysis and collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales Business development R&D and supply chain to align strategic objectives with business outcomes. This role does not have direct reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct detailed market analysis to identify growth opportunities for the Industrial Technologies business unit.
Track industry trends competitor activity regulatory developments and voice of customers (VOC) to align with overall Vantage and Industrial Technologies strategy.
Define market segmentation targeting and product positioning for key Vantage products.
Develop and refine long-term strategic marketing plans for assigned product portfolios.
Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches and regional market entries.
Create customer-facing content including presentations value propositions and marketing collateral based on market insights for sales enablement.
Establish and cultivate relationships with Performance Solutions / specialty industry community associations and key opinion leaders to support the Industrial Technologies growth.
Industry events & trade-show attendance / leadership within industry.
Utilize CRM to manage leads write customer call reports document and foster opportunities and maintain key customer information as part of a market intelligence accrual process.
Ability to create content and present to different levels within the organization.

Education & Experience
Education:
Bachelors degree in chemistry or engineering business or marketing with a strong understanding of the Specialty Chemicals.
Experience:
5 years experience in strategy marketing customer / market facing roles driving specialty chemicals growth in Industrial applications.
Demonstrated experience driving successful new business growth managing multiple projects with the ability to understand needs develop long-term plans identify opportunities and win new business.

Demonstrates strong knowledge of specialty chemicals and market segments successfully driving new business growth in Industrial Technologies

Energetic self-starter with a strong presence and the ability to work effectively in a driven environment; detail- and results-oriented.
Ability to work cross functionally with commercial R&D product and asset management teams.
Outstanding verbal written multi-tasking and presentation skills.
Strong experience in utilizing world class CRM systems as daily management tool and central intelligence systems.
Working Conditions
Travel up to 25% of the time
Pay and Benefits
The estimated base pay range for this position is: $115000 - $175000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education certifications experience qualifications skills and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
