Job Description

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant (EA) serves as the primary point of contact for Dean Torrey Wilson of the Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP). As a successful candidate you will have excellent communication skills impeccable attention to detail follow-through flexibility and strong technology skills. You will provide wide-ranging administrative support including managing the Deans schedule supporting meetings with guests and donors and arranging domestic and international travel. You will use good judgment to make decisions that align with the Deans priorities and university and GSPP policies including maintaining confidentiality. You are the firm but kind gatekeeper of the Deans time who appreciates candor stays flexible and keeps a sense of humor.

As a representative of the school you will be clear and courteous in interactions with a wide variety of constituencies including senior university leadership and their teams faculty students staff across campus GSPP Advisory Board members and other external contacts. You will also manage diverse projects to support the Deans strategic goals both independently and collaboratively. This position requires significant adaptability and a commitment to teamwork including cross-training to support other staff.

This is a full-time (37.5 hour/week) benefited position that is primarily on campus during the universitys working hours of 8:00am 4:30pm with limited remote work opportunities in consultation with the Dean and in accordance with the universitys remote work policies. The preferred start date for this position is Monday August 25th.

This is a full-time (37.5 hour/week) benefited position that is primarily on campus during the universitys working hours of 8:00am 4:30pm with limited remote work opportunities in consultation with the Dean and in accordance with the universitys remote work policies

Salary Grade Number

The salary grade for the position is 10.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $62000-$72000.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
