As a Senior Process Project Engineer in our Gainesville office you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions save global environments and create a better greener future for all.
Heres why we need you:
In response to growing opportunities in our biopharmaceutical food and chemical markets we are seeking a drivenProcess Project Engineerspecializing in plant systems (process vessels fermenters separation technologies tank farms process piping utility systems pumps heat transfer systems scrubbers waste treatment CIP/SIP and relief systems). Knowledge of the pharmaceutical validation process is desired. The Process Engineer will use their skills to develop P&IDs equipment and piping specifications complete hydraulic sizing and heat transfer calculations. Other responsibilities include attending design meetings performing field surveys facilitating Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) fielding vendor quotations and reviewing vendor submittals. Project roles will vary from pure consulting to performing detailed design commissioning and startup services based on project requirements.
Expertise of our most successful Senior Process Project Engineer:
- BS in Chemical Engineering Biological Systems Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited program.
- 15 years of experience in a consulting environment designing Chemical Process systems or leading design projects in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with communicating with clients partners and individuals at all levels within an organization.
- Knowledge and experience with piping systems and a variety of unit operations as applied to pharmaceutical food and chemical processing.
- Understanding of applicable design codes standards and specification requirements and ability to interpret them.
Effective skills to help you flourish:
- Professional engineering registration.
- Detailed hands-on knowledge of PLC or DCS control systems.
- Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols.
- Ability to travel for client meetings field survey commissioning and startup support.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments.
