Education:
- Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards
- Gain deep understanding of products and translate complex information into comprehensive accurate and standards compliant content.
- Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of target audience turning insights into language for user success
Responsibilities:
- Examine hardware configuration items by visual and physical inspection interpret specifications/manuals mechanical drawings bills of materials wire-lists and electrical schematics to create documentation
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop organize and write procedure manuals technical specifications and process documentation
Required skills and qualifications:
- Mechanical engineering bachelors degree
- One or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
- Fluent verbal and written English
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
- Experience in working with engineers to improve understanding refine content and create visuals and diagrams
- Ability to handle multiple technical writing assignments simultaneously
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Professional certification (ex: Society for Technical Communication)
Education:
- Mechanical engineering bachelors degree
