Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Product & Service Quality Senior Manager (Level L) to support the Supplier Quality team in Everett Washington.
This position is to manage the BCA notice of investigation and notice of escapement supplier quality team. This role will require significant coordination with supply chain engineering and suppliers.
This leader will be a reliable and proficient professional who possesses the ability to work well with broad groups and collaborate across organizational boundaries. They can efficiently implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving data and analysis to drive decisions. Transformational leadership skills are vital to form team engagement and lead quality team members. The ideal candidate will exhibit resilience and tenacity in implementing improvements in an established and regulated production and quality system.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers that ensure products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality System
Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports
Manages develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal role
3 years of experience leading or managing cross-functional projects
3 years of experience in developing and implementing process improvements
3 years of experience managing direct reports
3 years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
MRB (Material Review Board) experience and certification with Boeing or other Aircraft company
Knowledge & experience with non-conformance and non-compliance
