Callidus Engineering is a building services professional engineering firm providing mechanical and electrical design for commercial residential industrial and institutional clients throughout Canada. Our wide variety of clients includes architects building owners property managers government agencies and contractors. Project size varies from $50000 to $in construction value leading to a fast paced and dynamic office. We have offices in London Kitchener and Kingston ON.

- Were looking for candidates who can work in the office but theres potential for this position to transition to a hybrid work model in the future.
Position Available
Accounting Team Member
- We are currently recruiting an accounting team member. This is a part-time position assuming around 30 hours per week to start and could become full-time. In this mid-level role you will join the accounting team and be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:
- Monthly invoicing
- Creation of client monthly statements
- File management ensuring documents are properly completed and stored
- Additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of previous accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Post-secondary diploma in office/business administration or other formal training in accounting or bookkeeping
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Desired skills and abilities:
- Ability to be flexible with a teamwork-oriented mentality
- Self-starter and able to work efficiently and effectively
- Able to work well individually and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines
- Exposure to building services engineering and/or construction industry would be an asset
- Exposure to collections
- Exposure to Ajera accounting would be an asset
